Obese Like Me

If you are reading this article and believe you will be obese for life, maybe you are better to just move on to the comics section. This article is only for people with strong stomachs. If you have been fighting with yourself every time you put that excess food in your mouth and wondering why you keep doing it over and over again, stop for one moment and give yourself a final chance to prevent execution.

Obesity – Is being obese a death sentence? There is only one answer to that question, YES. Unless:

1. Are you willing to make one last confession before I pull the plug?
2. Are you willing to listen for once in your life, really listen?
3. Are you strong enough to go through rehabilitation one last time? If you fail, well…

Step #1. Admitting that you have a curable problem is a start.

* Put all your eating mistakes on paper and write down the reasons why you make that mistake next to each.
* Writing it down admitting to your mistakes is letting yourself know that you are the problem.
* Admit it (confess) it is all your fault.
* Throw all those excuses out the window, you are the culprit and no one else.

Step #2. Are you willing to listen?

* This is your last chance, no turning back. You need to accept the fact that you are not perfect.
* Look at yourself in the mirror and tell that person in front of you that you want to change. Tell the person you see, not me.

Step #3.Are you willing to go through rehabilitation one last time?

* If you know and accept to really do it this time you have four months to start rehabilitation.
* Your death sentence can be commuted temporarily only if you sign your own personal waiver form.
* Look at the person in the mirror, read the list of mistakes you have confessed to, create a picture of the new person you want to look like.
* The work begins today.
